Junior Squashathon 2023
Taking on a challenge to support Whizz-Kidz vital services for young wheelchair users.
The juniors will range in age from 4 to 19 and will rotate on court keeping rallies and matches going. At no point in the 12 hours will a court be empty. This will be a challenge for the juniors and the organisers!
Whizz-Kidz works to enable children to gain more mobility, independence and activity. They offer wheelchair equipment, activity programmes, work placement and wheelchair skills training. This can be from having a wheelchair to get out into the park, to play sports or support to gain work experience.
Please sponsor the juniors and help transform young people's lives. All young people face challenges, but for a young wheelchair user society can be that bit more challenging to navigate. The right wheelchair is more than just a set of wheels; it can be the key to unlocking a young person’s potential.
The Day: The juniors had the most amazing day, playing squash, raffles, cakes sale, dodgeball, play your coach, exhibition match - a fun day fundraising!
